By creating an account or using the Yarnie mobile application ("App") or any Yarnie device ("Device"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Yarnie Pty Ltd ("Yarnie", "we", "us", "our"), an Australian company.
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create a Yarnie account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Children do not create accounts or use the App directly. Parents and guardians create and manage child profiles and are responsible for all use of the service on behalf of their children.
Yarnie provides a family communication service that enables voice calls between parents (via the App) and children (via dedicated Yarnie Devices). The service includes:
Yarnie is not a replacement for emergency services. The service requires an internet connection and may not be available at all times.

Yarnie is designed with child safety as a core principle. As a parent or guardian using Yarnie:
We do not collect personal information from children beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy. Children interact only with the physical Yarnie Device and do not have access to the App.
You agree not to:
Yarnie has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Any content or conduct that exploits or endangers children will result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities.
The Yarnie App, Devices, branding, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Yarnie Pty Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service.
We strive to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may:
You may delete your account at any time through the App. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Yarnie Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or AUD $50, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Australian Consumer Law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App or via email. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
